Member News: UniMovers Des Moines and Units of Central Iowa Partner to Offer Full-Service Moving and Storage

UniMovers Des Moines is excited to announce a new partnership with fellow Urbandale Chamber member, Units of Central Iowa. This collaboration allows UniMovers—known for its reliable labor-only moving services—to offer customers a full-service moving and storage option.

UniMovers specializes in the heavy lifting: loading, unloading, and moving assistance. By teaming up with Units, they can pair that labor with secure, weather-resistant portable storage containers. Customers can have a unit delivered right to their driveway or business, packed with the help of UniMovers’ crew. Then, they can choose to keep it on-site, store it at Units’ secure facility, or have it delivered to their next location.

“This partnership lets us give customers the flexibility they’ve been asking for, whether they're a family who wants a few days to pack the pod before we do the heavy stuff, or a company looking to relocate without the hassle moving trucks can bring,” said Dylan McLaren, owner of UniMovers Des Moines. “We’re proud to team up with Jim and the rest of the Units team to make moving easier in Central Iowa.”
