Elite Edge Transformation to Celebrate Grand Opening and Raise Money for Grimes Community Foundation
Grimes - Elite Edge Transformation Center will be launching its 8th franchised location in Grimes on Tuesday, August 4th with a Ribbon Cutting from 12:30 to 1:30 pm with the business community, Grimes and Urbandale Chambers of Commerce, located at 1884 SE Destination Drive.
Elite Edge Grimes will continue to celebrate its grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, August 8th with its members from their gyms across the metro area. Following the ribbon cutting, guests can participate in a charity boot camp where participants can win amazing prizes, including a 6-month membership giveaway, 3-month Adult and Kid’s Jiu Jitsu memberships, protein shakes and mixes, Friederichs Coffee gift cards and more. There will be lots of free food, beverages and fun sponsored by the Protein House, In the Bag, Fresh Fit Meals, Iowa H20 and more. The Elite Edge Transformation Team welcomes everyone to join them at their events.
The new franchise location is owned by Dylan and Queennie Gemelli and they spoke proudly about their new gym. They said they are the first of its kind to come to Grimes. Dylan and Queennie plan on contributing to the community in Grimes as well as everywhere around the state. Dylan stated "Our gym is the first of its kind to come to Grimes and will accommodate anyone and everyone!" When asked about why he chose Grimes, he said, "We know that Grimes is one of the fastest growing areas in the state and we are also aware of how strong the community is here, so it was very important to us to make the strongest effort possible to contribute to the growth, HEALTH and progress of the community."
The charity boot camp they are holding will benefit the Grimes Community Foundation with a minimum donation of $10 for the foundation and a chance to win several prizes. Additional raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each. The Grimes Community Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for Grimes residents and businesses by promoting charitable giving and connecting donors who care with causes that positively impact the Grimes community.
