Chamber Nonprofits Encouraged to Apply for Charity Hack-a-thon

Applications are now open for area nonprofits to apply for dsmHack, the annual 48-hour Charity Hackathon event benefiting 501(c)3 organizations throughout Iowa by connecting them with technology professionals who have the skills that they need. dsmHack 2020 will be held March 5-7, 2020, at Curate in Des Moines’ East Village.
Some examples of projects nonprofits could apply for include building or updating websites or mobile apps, creating online or mobile fundraising platforms, improving existing systems or databases, building maps and data visualizations, moving paper forms online, helping with SEO, and so much more. Nonprofit professionals are invited to attend an educational social on Thursday, December 12th from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the Community Foundation in Des Moines to learn more about the hack and get help with their applications.
