What you will do:
  • Review approved employment forms for accuracy regarding payment of wages
  • Develop and enter payroll data while reviewing any discrepancies
  • Prepare and complete payroll checks
  • Maintain files for employees, payroll records, and billing records
  • Monitor unscheduled payroll transactions, including voiding unused checks, issuing stop payment orders, and issuing replacement checks
  • Conduct various payroll adjustments
  • Analyze payroll, production records, and customer-related billing reports
  • Process billings
  • Create and submit invoices
  • Assist customers with billing questions, customer website entry, and various other issues
What you need to be successful:
  • Previous payroll or billing experience is required
  • Strong Excel experience 
  • Prior experience with multi-state payroll processing is preferred
  • Prior experience with Workday software is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful
