Edye rejoined the Chamber in 2019 as our Executive Director. No stranger to the Des Moines community, she is a graduate of West Des Moines Leadership Academy and an active committee member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She has run as Woman of the Year three times and was named 2016 All-Star of the Year for the society. Edye was an active member of the West Des Moines Chamber, including serving on its board of directors. As a member of the elite 40 under 40 group in Des Moines, she has learned the value of being an active member of your community and making your mark. While in China he completed a training certification Grandmaster Liangyiquan. He has competed and placed in several international Chinese martial arts tournaments including the International Chinese Martial Arts Tournament in Florida in 2004 and the Chin Wu Association International Tournament in Texas in 2016 among others in Chicago and Des Moines. In 2011, he completed his Sifu certification with both Sifu Don Walth as well as Grandmaster Leung Shum.
