Winter Warmth Drive Fill The Truck Event

WINTER WARMTH DRIVE'S TRUCKLOAD OF WARMTH FILL THE TRUCK EVENT   Des Moines, Iowa   The Winter Warmth Drive, in partnership with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, Chick-fil-A, Pulse 101.7, Vital Signs Display Graphics and Valley Community Center present the 4th Annual Fill the Truck Event. The Fill the Truck is a two-day community event in support of the Winter Warmth Drive.   On November 1st and 2nd the Winter Warmth Drive will collect new or gently used winter outerwear items; coats, hats, gloves, blankets, snow boots and snow pants – adult and youth sizes - at all Des Moines Metro Chick-fil-A stores. (Mills Civic Parkway 6555 Mills Civic Pkwy, University 4502 University Ave, Merle Hay 4040 Merle Hay Rd and Ankeny 2410 SE Delaware Ave). TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Trucks will be parked to collect items at the Urbandale, Clive and West Des Moines locations, and donation boxes will be available at the Ankeny location.   Items collected will be provided to several local non-profit organizations and to over 30 schools around the Des Moines metro that have a need to provide items to students who come from families that are not able to provide the proper winter outerwear for the cold Iowa winters Chick-fil-A, in support of the Winter Warmth Drive and the communities involvement, will provide a free menu item coupon to individuals that donate at participating stores.   For more information about the Winter Warmth Drive please check us out on www.winterwarmthdrive.org, Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/winterwarmthdrive or on Twitter and Instagram @winterwarmthdr.
