Grab your biking buddies, hit the trails, and join us again on August 29th for the 2021 Pedal for the Pantry presented by F&G.
The event allows participants to support the Urbandale Food Pantry in one of two ways. The virtual ride offers those interested an opportunity to ride on their favorite trail around town with their family and friends. There’s also a unique opportunity to support the Urbandale Food Pantry at a higher level with a 45-minute ride on a bike trainer onsite the day of the event. During our onsite VIP ride participants have the opportunity of riding on a bike trainer stand alongside local celebrities, challenge each other with miles rode, listen to music, and refreshments for after. New this year is that we have partnered with local breweries around town to offer discounts on food and drinks to our riders. Check out the attachment and starting building your own trail.
The goal for the Pedal for the Pantry is to help raise funding and awareness in support of our mission. It is no secret that a community with access to food is a more productive, more positive, and more secure place. Join us in helping fight food insecurity in Central Iowa.
