Kindergarten Signing Day

Waukee Community School District is hosting its first-ever Kindergarten Signing Day on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 9-11 a.m., at Maple Grove Elementary! This free event is for all families considering transitional kindergarten (TK) or kindergarten in 2026–27 at Waukee CSD, no matter which school they will attend in the district. Students can enjoy fun activities like bounce houses and face painting, meet the high school mascots, participate in a “signing” ceremony, and more. While kids play, their adults can ask questions and enroll in TK/kindergarten with in-person support from our enrollment team. Our goal is to make the transition to kindergarten feel fun and reassuring — whether Waukee CSD is already your choice or you’re simply exploring what’s right for your child.
