Annually, the genYP Civic and Social committees come together to support a chamber member non-profit for the holidays.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization dedicated to fostering one-to-one relationships between mentors and young people to inspire positive change and personal growth. This holiday season, join us for our annual “Adopt a Family” event, where young professionals purchase gifts, then come together to wrap the gifts for families in need. The wrapping party serves as time to wrap the gifts, but also get together with other YPs to mingle and celebrate the holiday season. This festive gathering not only spreads holiday cheer but also strengthens our community by providing essential support to those facing challenges. By participating, you'll be making a tangible difference in the lives of local families and creating lasting memories through the joy of giving.

1.Sign up to purchase a gift HERE
Deadline to sign up for a gift is Dec. 9!
2. Register for THIS event at the top right of this page
3. Bring gift/s to the Wrapping Party on Thursday, Dec. 12th located at the Chamber (2830 100th St. Ste. 110, Urbandale)
4. Join the group for drinks and apps at Tito's Lounge once we complete the wrapping!
5. The Civic Committee will deliver gifts to BBBS
Can't make the Wrapping Party but want to give a gift? Sign up for a gift and drop it off to the Chamber in advance.
Want to help wrap, but didn't buy a gift? Please feel free to attend regardless.
