Event Description:
Does the world seem a little bit colder these days? Not the weather. The way people are treating each other.
Are you exhausted by all the hate? Do you wish we could all just be a little kinder to each other?
Let’s make a start.
November 27 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – is #GivingTuesday . It’s a day where people around the world come together to give back to the communities and causes they care about most.
This year, rather than asking you to give money on #GivingTuesday, CultureALL is asking you to give something that is both easier to give, and infinitely more valuable: Yourself – by doing one simple thing:
Include Someone.
On #GivingTuesday – wherever you are – take a moment to look around you and identify someone who is different from you. It may be someone from a different race, culture, or age group. Someone with a different gender identity. Someone with a disability. It may be someone from the office, a parent at your child’s school, or a total stranger.
When you find that person, reach into your heart and:
You can also share what your family, your company, your school, your church, or your organization is doing every day to make your community more inclusive.
Wherever you share your story, challenge your friends to join you and #IncludeSomeone on #GivingTuesday. And if they can't do that, challenge them to make a contribution to help CultureALL provide education programs that bring people together to talk, listen, learn, and collaborate in building a communities where everyone is valued.
