Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Applied Suicide Intervention Training (ASIST) is a training unlike any other training you have attended. ASIST is a highly interactive 2-day training that provides hands-on skills to intervene in the case of suicide. We will explore awareness about suicide, develop intervention skills, and to facilitate recovery. You will learn about resources available so you are prepared to pass the information on to anyone who may need them. By the end of this course, you will feel confident in your ability to approach someone you feel is at risk.
