Urbandale Chamber of Commerce President, Tiffany Menke honored as Executive of the Year
URBANDALE, IA – The Mid America Chamber of Commerce Executives (MACE) honored Tiffany Menke, IOM, President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce as Executive of the Year Thursday during the annual MACE conference in Sioux Falls, SD.
The executive of the year award is presented to a chamber executive who has demonstrated a vision, commitment and passion for the advancement of their chamber and community as a whole. The honored executive has proven to others that they are the “gold standard” in chamber leadership and are proven to have the vision for future chamber members to follow.
The nominees for this honor included executives from around the six state area and recognizes high-ranking chamber members for their giving spirit, many successes and humble attitude. While these leaders take an active role in their communities, they are well respected among their peers, serve on many community boards, and give a helping hand whenever needed. MACE serves chambers of commerce in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
“I am truly honored to be recognized by my peers throughout the Midwest,” said Menke. “After 20 years in this industry, I still wake up every day loving what I do because of the community, members I serve and of course the staff I have the honor to serve beside.”
Menke has been President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce for 14 years. In 2017, she was honored by the Des Moines Business Record as a Woman of Influence. Currently, Menke serves on the MACE Board of Directors and the Greater Des Moines Partnership Diversity and Inclusion Council.
The Urbandale Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based, business organization with 780 business members. As the only 5-star accredited Chamber in Central Iowa, the Urbandale Chamber is in the top 1% of Chambers of Commerce in the United States.
