Softball Fields Available for Rent at Walker Johnston Complex

Teams looking for a place to practice or scrimmage can rent a field with the options of field lights and scoreboard use for a small hourly fee. To accommodate tournaments, teams also have the ability to rent all four fields Friday through Sunday.
Now through Friday, March 10, rental requests and applications will be taken at the Urbandale Parks and Recreation office, but are limited to a maximum of four hours per week per team/individual.
Beginning Monday, March 13, unlimited times per week will be available for rental, and applications can be submitted by email to parks-rec@urbandale.org or by fax: 515-278-8356.

Urbandale, IA –March 7, 2017- Urbandale Parks and Recreation is now accepting rental requests for the four softball fields at Walker Johnston Softball Complex, located at 9000 Douglas Avenue in Urbandale. Available rental dates begin Monday, April 3 through Sunday, October 15.Teams looking for a place to practice or scrimmage can rent a field with the options of field lights and scoreboard use for a small hourly fee. To accommodate tournaments, teams also have the ability to rent all four fields Friday through Sunday.
