Tuesday, August 15: Expanding your Professional Footprint with Anna Nalean, Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and Kelsey Clark, Government Relations Specialist
Being a board member or running for an elected position is an incredible opportunity to lead within your community and put your passion for a particular cause into practice! But along with passion must come a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities and duties of your new position. Learn from two community experts on best practices and strategies for getting involved with on the board or government level to make the biggest impact you can make.
You will learn:
Cost: $25/workshop
All workshops will take place from 7:30-9:30 am in the RODAN Board Room at the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce (2830 100th Street, Ste 110, Urbandale).
This workshop series is designed to provide young professionals with information to excel in their professional and civic endeavors. The series includes 4 different workshop classes (listed below). Participants will be introduced to new tools to bolster their career, interact with leaders and be challenged as future leaders.
